The Le Mans Series at Silverstone

The Le Mans Series 2011 will be returning to Silverstone from the 9th - 11th Septermber. If you missed this year's Le Mans 24 Hours race or just want to re-live all the on track action then this is must attend event for all motorsport fans. As this race forms part of the 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup there is a guaranteed to be an excellent field.

Audi and Peugeot will be resuming their fight for honours this year. After Peugeot had managed to finish ahead of Audi at Spa, it was the German manufacture who overcame the odds to win the big one at Le Mans. Both teams will be returning to Silverstone wanting to prove a point and add points to their total for the ILMC.

Fan favourites Pescarolo Team and Rebellion Racing will be fighting for the unoffcial first petrol-powered car whilst British teams RML, Greaves Motorsport and Strakka Racing will be on home ground again. In the GTE classes BMW, Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin and Lotus will all be hoping to take the honours at Silverstone.
