Nurburgring Drivers Experience
1st – 3rd October 2010
 Travel Destinations are pleased to offer our customers a chance to
visit the famous Nurburgring and enjoy an action packed driving weekend
in the stunning Eifel region of Germany.
This Nurburgring tour will offer you the opportunity to drive the legendary
Nordschleife and experience a driving skills training day in your own
car including skid pan sessions and a guided tour of the Formula 1
circuit - one of the world’s most famous racing circuits.
 In
addition you will get the unique opportunity to have a behind the
scenes tour of the Jaguar Test Centre and the opportunity to experience
a lap around the stunning Nurburgring in a Jaguar test centre vehicle
driven by an experienced test centre driver.
Limited to a
privileged 20 cars, this tour provides a chance to really experience
all of the famous Nurburgring and enjoy a unique action packed driving
weekend.
Itinerary:
Friday 1st October:
Depart
Folkestone to Calais on Eurotunnel for the drive through France and
Belgium into Germany. Our base for the next two nights will be the
Four Star Hotel Sonnenhof in the small town of Adenau just 8km from the
circuit.
Saturday 2nd October:
This will be a full day’s driving skills training day at the Nurburgring circuit.  Using
the skid pan, the driver training experience is a fun and safe way of
learning advanced driving skills. Using your own car under expert
instruction, the day includes slalom driving, braking, avoidance and
controlling your vehicle whilst skidding. A buffet lunch and soft
drinks are included. After the driver training there will be an
opportunity to take a backstage look behind the scenes of the Formula 1
Circuit.
In the evening a tour dinner will take place at the
hotel where you can exchange your experiences with the other
participants.
Sunday 3rd October:
The ultimate highlight of the weekend will be a behind the scenes tour
of the Jaguar Test Centre at the Nurburgring. After tea/coffee and
introductions the test centre manager will explain the significance of
the Jaguar test centre at the Nurburgring.
There will be an
opportunity to view the current vehicles in the test centre. After
visiting the test centre an experienced driver will drive you around
the Nurburgring Nordschleife at speed in a current test centre car – a truly unforgettable experience.
Before
the drive home there will be an opportunity for those who wish to use
their new skills by driving themselves around the famous Nurburgring
Nordschleife, or as locals call it, ‘The Ring’. This is quite simply
one of the ultimate driving experiences with 176 corners over 21
kilometres.
Tour Price:
- £559.00 per person (based on 2 people in a car, sharing a double/twin room) Prices for single passengers on request.

- Return Eurotunnel crossings from Folkestone to Calais (alternative channel routes available for a small supplement).
- 2 nights in a twin or double room at the 4 star Hotel Sonnenhof in Adenau on a bed and breakfast basis.

- Behind the scenes tour of the Nurburgring Circuit.
